Clean Trash I've done some serious tuning work so my original coils were fine, just wanted them before I had problems. I put these coils in and all I can say is misfire. Multiple misfires. Thanks, but no thanks, not for my 328i.

This is an amazing offer. 6 for $60+. DON'T WORRY, they work. I bought them in May and the same day they arrived I replaced four of my coils with these coils. Currently my 2000 BMW 528i uses 4 out of 6 of these and runs GREAT. The clips fit perfectly and yes they come with a trunk. You can only get one in the Autozone for about the same price, and the medal clip doesn't even fit properly. Shame on you Autozone

Spools arrived quickly, quality is similar to OEM except for the clips; They were bent inward which prevented me from installing the connectors (I had to straighten them to connect the wires). I ordered them because my car misfired and after installing them the misfires went away, but now after driving 1000 miles less the misfires feel a lot worse than before.

I replaced all my coils on my 2002 325ci with these. Cylinder 3, which was intermittent and could be cleared with a scanner, actually got worse as a constant p1347 was not cleared. I swapped it out for one of the other coils with the same result, then put the old coil back in. I now have an intermittent p1347 which the scanner clears again. The remaining 5 cylinders work as expected with these coils.

I installed them and they seem to work fine (so far); obvious design flaw. There is a curved tab on the underside of the slide lock holder that appears to be designed to prevent the lock from slipping off the plastic wire connector. It does this but also prevents the latch from sliding high enough to insert the wire harness into the connector! You can see the curved tab in the attached image. Coils arrived in a reasonable time. Apparently it could have gone faster. I'm not on the mainland. The tabs on the spools appear to have been bent to prevent the locking mechanism from falling off. I do not know why. The locking mechanism just won't come off. The original BOSCH coils I replaced didn't have these tabs bent. This kit was installed on my 2001 BMW 530i e39 in September 2015. Less than 3 years and about 30,000 miles later I noticed a distinct knocking noise in my engine and a fuel cut off code for cylinder #3. When attempting to remove the ECCPP ignition coil and part of the igniter they became separated from the lower rubber bushing extension which attached to the spark plug.
