I bought these for a Honda CR-V that only had one key. I bought a CT-100 key programmer for $125 and was able to program it easily without paying the dealer. Oh, and I cut them at my local ACE hardware store for $7 each. I'm glad I bought them.

Great price and only needed programming which retailer charges around $60 for; Make sure your dealer specifies key 1 or 2 if the car has electronics that program seat position; learned the hard way that they made both keys the same as key y #2. However, the problem is not the key itself.

I took them to a local locksmith who could program the keys. Don't go to the dealer. They will charge hundreds of dollars to program and cut your keys if they do it at all. Your local locksmith should do it for a fraction of that. It can be a little scary when you take them to a locksmith because they don't promise it will work.
