Highly Recommended - Have used for years

I'm surprised to see negative reviews for this product as I've been using these mugs for years (since 2009 to be exact) and love them. I've used them for very large parties and they worked great for hot coffee and other beverages and were also great for composting in our open bin. I love to print the world map. They don't decompose as quickly as veggies in the trash can, but they decompose just as quickly as thick paper.

Pros
  • For hot drinks
Cons
  • So far so good

NOT compostable for disposable drinkware

I would NOT consider this to be compostable as it does not biodegrade in my compost at the same time as my organic veg and I buy it to supplement my veg to sprout as a gift so my friends can plant a mug straight into the ground for it to ruin my garden river with false advertising. Unfortunately I'm ordering more before realizing this fact. However, it can be burned in my campfire so it's ok, I wouldn't buy this product again after testing it in several different scenarios because it just seems

Pros
  • Easy to use with smooth rounded edge
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Crappy mugs that leak 80% of the time

Leaks from the last 3 mugs I've received from different companies. I hate these cups. I never trust the concept of 'compostable' as products have started to overstate this possibility as a selling point. So far the plastic versions of this brand have broken down a bit but not as close as my real compost which is dirt now. I stopped using those mugs and started bringing my own mug from home, ceramic, done right. They lick 80% of the time I get them. I do not recommend them in any way. My photo…

Pros
  • PLA vegetable resin inner liner
Cons
  • Not sure
