This filter severely restricted water flow throughout the home. I could not use more than one water consuming product at a time. Toilets, sinks, showers, washing machine and dishwasher. If any of the above items are in operation while showering, water will flow out of the shower head. I know how to install these filters and have been doing it for years. I will say that this will filter out the good, so this part is good. Definitely a good filter.

This is a very good filter, you will not want to use this filter in a whole house filtration system. The system I made has two filters. The water comes out of the well first and goes through a 5 micron filter throughout the house, and then the water goes through that 1 micron filter before going elsewhere in the system, such as the bathroom sink. Pretty standard 10 inch hard plastic water filter housing. This model comes without a filter, but usually the one that comes with it is cheap.
