Beware! Deceptive picture! A box is not everything!

This review is not about a product, it is about promoting a misleading image of sellers, Christine reported this 5 years ago and Revain did nothing about it. The photo shows the whole case, not a box. This is a deliberate deception.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Repair

The old version was better and cheaper

Please return the tear-off version of this product with the bags laid flat. This folded version is more expensive, has fewer pockets and is much more difficult to handle. Tearing open a bag takes more time and effort than necessary to avoid puncture it. Didn't like it, hope for an alternative.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Hooray! compost! for garbage bags

Were used and the price has arisen. They do what they're supposed to do but only took off a star because they're difficult to separate, but that's common with these types of bags so they're still great for liners. We have to compost because the law says we can't throw away food anymore, so I've tried a lot of bags. These bags are worth buying again just because I don't have to clean up the gross stuff at the bottom of the bin.

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Frequency

Garbage, compost and peat bags are durable and will not leak

I previously have a 3 gallon/25 carat compost/trash bio bag for use in my 1 gallon compost bucket ordered on the countertop. The biopacks started leaking after two days and I had to clean the bucket frequently, defeating the purpose of having the bags in the first place. The EcoSafe 6400 CP1617-6 bags are very strong and have not leaked, even with wet tea bags on the bottom. They are much thicker than bio bags and will not tear when filled. Very happy with this product, I will order more.

Pros
  • Meets all labeling requirements of California law
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Great bags - durable and won't fall apart when wet. If it wasn't so close to the color of recyclable plastic bags they would have gotten 5 stars. I had a time when my composting service wouldn't take my compost bin (Recology in the Bay Area) because they thought it was full of plastic bags. I had to attach an EcoSafe bag to the Recology FAQ with a link to the BPI specs stating they were suitable for industrial composting systems until they took away my compostable products. Still my compost bag

Pros
  • High puncture, tear and heat resistance. Extra strong airtight bottom with star seal
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

This is the second time I have bought these bags.

This is the second time I've bought these bags. When I got to the middle of the box the second time, the bottom started to open. Something was wrong with the filling. When I first realized there was a problem, I lifted a full bag out of the bin and landed on my kitchen floor with it all :( I grabbed another bag to pick up most of the rubbish and it all caught my eye the bottom.second bag.I then inspected the third bag and my hand went right through the bottom. This happened to all the other bags

Pros
  • Made in the USA from US made polymers
Cons
  • Off fashion
