🐑 ECP Authentic Sheepskin Girth Protection Cover, Promotes Prevention of Gall Sores and Chafing Review

I was very happy with this girth. Good price, very soft and comfortable. I figured it would fit my girth (not very wide). But it's too tight. You need to make it an inch or two wider.

Thick, soft lambskin. I bought a 26" to cover a 22" western neoprene girth for a 13.1" Rockies pony. Regrow her hair after we took the vet away because she chewed on the raw girth spot.

I liked the softness, thickness and absorbency. Unfortunately it's too narrow for a western. So I cut it open and added a 2 inch piece of synthetic fleece to fix the problem. I've been riding all day and, as usual, there are no irritations.

In the product description at the bottom where you look at the characteristics it says "Velcro". It's NOT "Velcro", it's a tube. I only ordered it because I needed a velcro strap. Yes, I'm upset because my time was wasted.

This sheepskin sheath is just beautiful! Lovely quality, super soft and plush yet durable. Offers a soft, comfortable fit and my horse seems to love it! The width is 4 inches and I use it over a 27 strand straight mohair spring which suits this tube design perfectly.

Amazing quality; I was so excited when I took it out of the box but much less so when I started using it. The vocabulary says it fits the western scope, but it's TOO EASY! It doesn't go through the round buckles on either end of the strap. I expected to slide back and forth, but that's impossible.
