My daughter's new favorite game!

My daughter loves practicing math facts with this game. Right from the start she loved the colors and I couldn't put the batteries in fast enough. She didn't put it down. She likes to try to beat her previous score. I read some other reviews that said it might not last. I hope it won't. I wish I had found this sooner!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Don't waste your money

I gave two stars because I like educational toys but I wouldn't recommend it, especially at this price point. It keeps kids' attention for 5 minutes. All in all not fun if I hadn't destroyed the box I would have refunded the wasted money. I don't understand why there are such good reviews. Oh, and at this high price, no batteries are included. What a gap

It's difficult to verify.

I really liked this product. My 4 year old son loved it and my 7 year old daughter loved it too. We only used it a couple of times and today my son took it out to play some more and it stopped working. I have tried replacing the battery as it has been over a month. Nothing. I'm not sure what's wrong. So it's a good fun game but not sure about longevity. We have a broken one?!

I wish I found it sooner

This is a fantastic resource for practicing math facts. I'm seeing reviews from parents of younger kids but my 8 year old will be able to use this for a while. It challenges older users with speed as well as more complex equations. I like to keep our toys and curriculum minimal at home, so I wasn't sure if I should add that, but it's perfect for what we need it for: practicing math facts in a fun and engaging way. It doesn't seem to have a volume control, but that doesn't bother me as we're…

A misleading mathematical tool.

I had to go with reviews, this toy was made with a defect. I read reviews, they struggled but gave them a chance. This is clearly some kind of faulty mechanism inside the toy. Most correctly answered questions marked with an orange or purple button sound incorrect. This can be frustrating for any child, especially an autistic child who is learning math and is sure their answers are correct but sound wrong. So I tried it by writing myself down, it's a big disappointment and an inappropriate math

Cool toy but came used and broken. Twice.

The game itself is wonderful. The kids love it so I give it 5 stars. Be careful though - this toy arrived used. Twice. We received these for Christmas and it is clear that the box had previously been opened and sealed with tape. We decided to keep it anyway until we realized the toy itself was broken. It would suddenly stop working mid-game or wouldn't turn on at all even with fresh batteries. We returned it. The kids asked if we could buy again, which I did, thinking the chances of us buying a

Great fun math toy

What a great fun educational toy! I've had mine for a year now and it's still going strong. My kids use Math Slam every day. I am homeschooled and am always looking for educational, fun toys. This educational toy is for addition and subtraction only. There are many levels of play, from simple addition/subtraction to addition/subtraction of two-digit numbers. There is a volume control which is very good. My oldest child has autism so anything with interactive learning helps a lot more. In fact…
