Art experiments with sculpting supplies

Was looking for different options for an art studio. It seemed like something to try with resin and acrylic fillings.

Pros
  • Create your own vibrant, sophisticated mask
Cons
  • Not bad

Nice size, stronger than I thought

This item came in a padded envelope so I was concerned it might be damaged after reading reviews of how flimsy it is. That was excellent! Good size and stronger than I thought. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Great replacement material for your camouflage block
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Beautifully made

These masks are made from molded plastic so I covered them with shrink wrap and the kids have fun covering the front of the paper mache. Then they could paint and decorate as they wished. I then cut the shrink wrap on the back and removed their pre-made paper mache masks from the plastic mask and this keeps the original mask intact for another day of crafting.

Pros
  • Make your own colorful artistic mask
Cons
  • Doubt it

Good product!

I used a ceramic clay mold and it worked great, including relatively easy demolding when the clay was as hard as leather. NOTE: Cooking oil spray (or similar) should be applied to the mold first to prevent the clay from sticking to it. The facial features were a little blurry and required carving/modelling. However, it is a time-saving tool. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Not recommended for direct body casting
Cons
  • weak
