The workmanship and the aesthetic design of this bowl are excellent. Even my wife noticed his pleasant appearance. Unfortunately, the way the bowl edges are beveled isn't a great choice for shaving cream; When you make foam with your brush, it tends to go over the edge and make a mess. If the sides were more vertical, that wouldn't be a problem.

I received this shaving bowl for Christmas this year and I love it. A good price, a nice gloss black fin with the Edwin Jagger logo on it and a silver rim around the rim make this bowl very sharp. The finish is flawless and will make a great companion for your EJ DE razor.

The shell is beautifully finished and feels comfortable. I've seen others say they use it as a soap holder. I use it when the brush is loaded with soap. Some hot water and I use the bowl to lather the shaving cream. The ridge at the bottom of the bowl provides a good place to rotate the frothing brush. I am very happy with the bowl. I find it works best when soaked in hot water to warm up before using for frothing.

And works like a mug. Advantage: Make your shaving collection masculine and sexy. Cons: There is a slight curve on the inside to keep the soap in place, but I use cream to make the hairs uncomfortable on my brush. I don't think it harms the brush, but it does interfere with the lather. I personally love it and would recommend it, especially for those who use shaving soap.

the bowl is very good. it complements my bathroom. My only complaint is the price. Attention, this article is delicate. Normal use is fine and it will hold up and age well, but it probably isn't suitable for travel. I would suggest taking a metal travel bowl.
