Doesn't even remotely look like a Scrubbing Bubbles product. There's almost no detergent in the pad, and the pad doesn't open up when you clean with it - it just stays flat rolled up with a wad of tissues. Finally, it does not fall apart, so it can be easily washed off. After using one, I threw the rest away.

I know it's the regular version but I still thought it would do the job and I was wrong! So disappointed with the purchase. They didn't really clean, they made an even bigger mess! Thin and crumbled as soon as it touched the water, there were pieces all over the body in the toilet so I tried another one and it made me worse, plus the tipped toilet! waste of money!

Posted a photo of the difference in the amount of cleaner spread out on the washable refill. I was a bit skeptical when I opened the package, but I always try. It's not worth the money, I had to add Lysol toilet cleaner after using it. I will use it with a cleaner but I will not buy it again, I do not recommend it.

I bought these on purpose because Scrubbing Bubbles refills are becoming increasingly difficult to find and sometimes prohibitively expensive. I am happy to say that they work very well. In fact, I have a box of Scrubbing Bubbles and a box of these next to each other in my bathroom - I use one of these every few days and honestly can't tell them apart. I will definitely buy more!

These are amazing, they match the scrub bladders perfectly and do the job just as well as the brand name alternative. The only complaint I have is the box it comes in. The side says "WASHABLE PADS" in bold white letters. my roommate thought they were all pads and therefore always thought we were out of toilet cleaner and kept asking me to order more. >_> Obviously the complaint is not so much about the product as it is about idiots.

Scrubbing Bubbles has stopped making brushes for their system, but they still make washable pads for now. I've read bad reviews about the Effacera dissolving pads but thought I'd just use the SB pads in the Effacera stick. I decided to try Effacera pads on my regular home toilet to see how bad they are.

This toilet cleaner is very easy to use. I hung the "stick" on the back of the toilet and it is very unobtrusive. The handle feels solid and grips the cleaning pad well. The pad is very thin and while it washes off easily I found it didn't discolour or dry out the material too much. I'm going to squirt my regular toilet bowl cleaner into the bowl and then scrub with it. At least I don't have a disgusting brush in the bathroom and I'm glad.

Do not buy. While the idea is sensible, this is one of those purchases where as soon as you open it and hold it in your hands, you know you're going to kick yourself for throwing your money away. Cheap flimsy plastic doesn't give you enough power to put in the effort to clean, but like a stiff hard brush. Worse, the pads are so small you'll end up scratching the toilet with a piece of cheap plastic! I ended up using the supplied latex gloves to hold the cleaning pads to wipe down the toilet…
