Well made, easy to clean and use. But did not work well on my Whirlpool induction stove. Tried to make coffee in a glass percolator, after 20 minutes water was still not boiling, diffuser got too hot and the stove gave an error message. I usually don’t write negative reviews, but as everyone else says about this item, it just does not get hot enough to heat anything at all.In order to try and cook a simple egg, it simply would not get the egg pan hot enough. I tried turning the induction burner to full and just like everyone else’s, it overheated and shut itself off.Waste of money.

Didn't even know this existed. But, when I saw it, I needed it. My intentions were to buy a new set of pot and pans for my induction cooktop as none were compatible. So, when I saw this, I bought it with great expectations. It works exactly like they said it would and now I don't have to buy a new set of pans. In fact, it works beautifully. I couldn't be more pleased.

These DO NOT make your pans work as induction. They help heat a little but not even close to what they advertise. Unfortunately I missed the return window or I would have returns them.

When I bought my NuWaves (two of them, small and larger to replace my old stove) I had to get these because the NuWaves work on magnetics and my pans were aluminum. They are a little slow to heat up but work well. They are sturdy and still look like new.I ended up buying new pots and pans but still have issues sometimes, so I just put the diffuser under them.

Got this for my son because he recently purchased a new smooth surface range. At the time, he didn't realize that it requires cookware with a smooth flat bottom made of steel. Of course, he didn't have any, so absolutely hated the stove. I found this and decided to see if it would help him. He loves it. It works perfectly on the stove, and he doesn't need to buy all new cookware. He still doesn't like the cooktop, but hates it less than he did before. At least he can use it now.

Although it is most effective to use pans designed for induction heating, it is useful to have this device for occasions when a non-induction pan must be used. This worked as it was supposed to and I like the integrated handle, even though it may interfere with very large pans. This is not a common issue and it is preferable to having to use separate tongs or other devices to life or move the adapter plate.

This diffuser is nice to have so you are able to use "any" pan on an induction cooktop. However, it does take longer for your pan too heat up, when using the diffuser.

This is supposed to work on an induction oven. I decided to make rice and it literally took 2 hours to cook. The water didn’t even boil. Not worth it.

I have a countertop induction single burner. I have 2 sets of cookware one does not work on induction, the other set does, but if the pan sides are slanted it will not work, only on those pans with straight sides. I purchased this adapter plate for use with both sets. I am happy to say it does work with the set that doesn't work on the induction. I just assume that it will with one with slanted sides. It is a quality product, looks good and does a good job. It makes simmering on a gas stove very uniform and easy. The simmer ring plate may warp or become deformed with repeated use.

My wife didn't like using cast iron or, for that matter, any of out cookware on our glass top stove. Now, with this, heat is even and doesn't scratch the top. A great little product.

The claims on this product is false! It loses too much heat.Rainbean and other companies should not hide the fact on the heat loss on their product description. I tested this on my new DuxTop 9600LS on boil mode. It didn't even start boiling passed 10 mins. Was cooking on medium-low heat when the diffuser made a popping noise and then the top and bottom split from the center of the diffuser! I didn’t even realize that it was three pieces of metal put together; I thought that it was a single disc of metal. Do not waste your money on this product. Less than two months of occasional use and I landed up throwing it away.

Both one I bought separated snd mekted aluminum all over stove. When I moved it to the sink, the molten aluminum dripped down ruining the intake water hose to the dishwasher. This should be immediately removed from sales.

I originally ordered a Rainbean. It was delivered slightly damaged, so I returned it and exchanged it for a new one. The replacement I received was not a Rainbean. Replacement has a different handle and secured in a different manner. It does not seem to be as sturdy as the original.

Do not buy this piece of crap! It is two pieces of metal with aluminum sandwiched in between. The aluminum melted out and ruined my brand new stovetop!

Item is just as advertised. I’ve used it under my cast iron while cooking on a glass-top stove, and it worked like a charm. Annoying to clean and stains like the dickens, but that just adds character, right?
