I love this i made 20 crab meat empanadas and it was very sturdy and easy to use. It held beautifully with me have to press real hard to close the dough. Thank you it was worth it.

If I knew before how wonderful this item was, I would have purchased sooner. So much easier to make. I have ordered more so I can make these little pies with my grand children. We make with pudding or with eggs or fruit or meats. So many choices😊

It's ok. It does it's purpose if you really hold it together and stretch the dough correctly but does not make it easier. It doesn't really seal good. Some may open when cooking. I don't like it but someone else may. Idk

Very simple tool I expected it to be more heavy it just requires a nice firm push down to form the waves in empanadas! I am ordering 2 more today!

As you can see, I should've listened to the top review. The item isn't aligned properly and as a result it won't make a clean cut. Not to mention the fact that it's a bit too flimsy and expensive for what it is. It's also slightly too small.

It looks amazing however only if it was the size stated. It was to large for my 5.5 inch ready made pastry disc. Need to return and get the actual 5.5 this was 6 inches and yes half an inch makes a difference.

This is a good product, it is a little flimsier than I expected but it does do the job with not much effort. I am just not sure how it will hold up over time. All and all, I am pretty satisfied with the product.

diameter is for the inner circle, should be the outer circle. I use the goya discos para empanadas. Those are 5.5 inches in diameter. they sit INSIDE this press. It does not reach the edge to seal it. And when you stretch the dough to seal it, the press is not tight so it opens up easily.

Good as a mold for forming empanadas that are nicely shaped. But using the bottom as a dough cutter doesn’t work as advertised—it is not only uneven as mentioned in other reviews, but the dough needs to be bigger around to account for the empanada being folded over the filling. That said, it is great as a base for constructing uniform empanadas, worth the price.

Surprisingly this empanada crimper is fairly studry and worked as a dough circle cutter on the back side so you get a 2 for 1. It’s crimp was tighter when the dough was sealed with a touch of water along the edge. So if the rivets hold up at the back of the jaws where it’s hinged together, then it was worth it.

This was so poor. Unable to cut the dough because the cutter wasn’t lined up correctly. One side wasn’t flat in the surface. Needed this for an event and had to opt for a plastic lid which did a better job.
