Unfortunately, the cell phone pairing with the eGeeTouch Manager app does not work.

This is a neat device. Installation took some time mainly for placement. The provided modules unlock the device. However, I'm disappointed with the NFC capability as it doesn't work with my Galaxy S8+. I know my phone's NFC is working because I use it a lot with Samsung Pay. On the other hand, it can prevent my bag's zipper pullers from catching and loosening on the baggage carousel.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!

The concept of this product is great, but it doesn't work that well. The installation instructions are not complete or correct for installation on your baggage. In fact, it doesn't just "replace" the old lock. You have to pierce the luggage to install it and then it doesn't really close the space. Where was the old castle. I can't get the app to connect to the lock either. There is no troubleshooter on their website to help if it won't connect. I would say save your money. I emailed them for…

Worked for some time for travel accessories

For the record, you don't need to put a lock on your luggage for it to work. It locks the zippers together, so it doesn't matter if they're closed or not, the zippers will still stay together. That being said, I've never gotten NFC to work with this lock, but I used a key fob instead and that helped for a while. After less than a year of daily use during the work week, it stopped blocking.
