Inaccurate Reading and Difficult to Use

This product is a waste of money for anyone working in the Industrial and Scientific industries. The tachometer provides inaccurate readings and is difficult to use, causing frustration and extra work for users. The only positive aspect is that it is non-contact, but even that is not enough to outweigh the negatives. Save yourself the hassle and opt for a different brand.

Have a look before you buy, if it sounds good, double check.

I like that it is compact. I don't like that you have to remove the battery to turn it off, despite what the instructions say. The readings are abnormal and vary greatly!

Disappointing

Had to replace this tachometer and the second one sent didn't work reliably either. Very dark conditions were required for this touch to give a reading. I had to throw out the crappy batteries on both units and replace them with reliable ones. Maybe this device works well for some people, but I gave up after the second one and found a better spot for it in the trash can. Maybe it works better there.
