BNC Connector for my opinion

Directions would have been helpful. Some arrived dismantled, but was able to take others apart and determine order of parts. Worked great.

Pros
  • Received on time - does not look like all 10 items are the same.
Cons
  • The size of each connector is fixed, which may not work with specific setups, requiring users to purchase additional connectors

Decent quality connector - but.

I deducted one star because the center portion seems slightly under size. After installing on RG-58A/U, and attaching to my Tektronix scope, I notice that the cable along with the inner portion of the connector rotates too easily. May not be an issue as signals fed through the cable look clean. However, all the other cables that I have including some mil spec cables that are perhaps 50 years old, fit tighter as do the BNCs on the Tektronix probes. Seller should include installation instructions

Solid product. good for me

This works great for creating your own cables. A little tight on RG8x coax. Does require soldering experience to do it cleanly. But the product is exactly as shown. Will buy again when needed.

  • The connector's cost is relatively high compared to other options with similar performance, leading to the need to outlay unnecessary expenses

Nicely machined and easy to use.

This is a quality connector, and being a solder type, it will last for a long time under continous connecting and disconnecting!

Work as expected - my new review

But there is just a little more gap between RG58 cable (Belden-E 82240 RG-58U) than I would like. I resorted to adding heat shrink to the cable but it still was only barely enough. Fortunately I'm not using these outdoors.

Great Connector - No instructions.

Fantastic Solder connector, there is just zero instructions and took me a long while to find a single source on how to properly use these for grounded shielding connections. The ONE YouTube video is mostly correct, he just has the nylon insulator wrong way around.Search YT for "How to solder a BNC connector. Properly."
