As expected. I prefer bottles to matchboxes.

As expected. I prefer bottles to matchboxes as it gives them a longer shelf life and protects them from spills and other school lab mistakes.

Disappointment: Lab & Scientific Products

I had high hopes for this test kit but none of my students have tried real PTC coated strips. I know I'm a PTC taster and it didn't work for me either. Next time I need them I'll use the PTC Carolina biological strips (in matchbox form).

Just what you need

Used in high school math class. They enjoyed conducting the experiment and analyzing the data to determine whether the ability to taste PTC was related to gender, hair color, or the ability to smell. The strips worked exactly as expected. We halved them for more, but that was enough to tell if you could taste it.
