🧴 Foldable Filling Bottle - EK Easy Access & Portable Hydration Solution Review

I thought I could use it more than once. It turned out to be in the toolbox since I had been working with my loop. Just grab a measuring cup if you're a PC building hobbyist like me. I can't wait to use it for the second time.

As my name suggests, the nozzle was too small and it took excessive force to push the liquid out of the bottle until I was about 1/2 inch from it cut off the end and use a utility knife to widen the hole. Solid bottle but may need some tweaking to get desired result.

So not much to say about this filling bottle. The stain actually pops and pops out, so you can have a very long spout or a very short spout. The only problem I've found is that the dispensing end of the spout actually releases a small drip when you're done dispensing water. So be careful when moving the fill bottle over your components when you have finished filling the tank as a small drip will come out of the spout.

I researched different options and finally bought it. To my surprise, this water-cooled bottle worked great. All I had to do was fill it up, insert the tube into the reservoir and squeeze out. The long hose makes access to my reservoir easy and not a problem. I didn't have to worry about compressing the air either as the tubing curls up at the bottom of the bottle.

I got it and started using it with a tight nozzle. I ended up getting frustrated and cut off the nozzle. It turns out that you can pull out the fine nozzle and it will flow fast enough to keep your pump primed while you fill. Don't be me, don't cut. Take a pair of needle-nose pliers and pull out the thin tip.

Well, I like this bottle because it's easier to fill. BUT you have to squeeze relatively hard because the nozzle is very thin. If you use this, the actual filling process will be VERY slow unless you decide to expand the spout somehow. The bad thing about this bottle is that the thread for the cap is pretty weak. You cannot try to overtighten the cap or it will come off the threads and the cap may come off if you press too hard, which is difficult as you need to squeeze a little to get good…

The filling bottle is great for filling the reservoir in a tight corner of my tiny body. I ended up trimming the tip back a bit for more flow. My hand cramped from pushing before the gap was 1/4 full. It doesn't appear to be dripping (more or less), which is nice. You really can't be too careful when it comes to water and expensive electronics.

I like the design of this bottle, especially the protrusion, but the bottle itself is too stiff. I find the cheap plastic too thick. My hands literally cramped about 1/3 of the way through a liter and I'm a big guy with a kung fu choke hold. The nozzle itself needs to be cut/cut off to ensure at least some functional flow, unless you want to spend 2 hours dosing a liter or want to refill a system with only 10ml of liquid, which is unrealistic.
