Description of EKWB EK Torque STC 12 Compression Fitting

EK-Torque STC 12/16 Black fittings are EK's new minimalistic 12/16mm (ID/OD) soft-tube compression fittings designed for use with various flexible soft tubing types such as PVC, EPDM, Norprene and silicone. They can be complemented by interchangeable aesthetic color rings, and are an ideal choice for anyone and a perfect match with EK-Quantum series products (aesthetic rings are sold separately). The locking ring prevents solid tube to be pulled out of the fitting by compressing the rubber gasket underneath the ring. The base fitting surface is smooth and has no adequate gripping surface, but the inside of the barb is socketed with a 9mm hex Allen key pattern. The outer diameter of a fitting: 23mm

Leaks Everywhere, Avoid This Nightmare

Based on my experience these fittings are a complete disaster. The O-rings break easily and the finish is subpar. The only positive aspect is the sleek design. Unfortunately, that doesn`t make up for the constant leaks and hassle of replacing the faulty fittings. Save your money and find an alternative brand..

Perfectly Fits My Build!

I used this fitting on my custom water-cooled build and it was exactly what I was looking for. The sleek design and high-quality material really complemented my computers aesthetics .As a result of my tests I determined that it provides a secure and leak-free connection. The only downside is that it's a bit on the pricey side. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this fitting to anyone looking to improve the look and performance of their computer..

High quality for computer components

Ordered 2 packs of 4 for a total of 8 and one stuck a QC in that can't even screw into the heatsink or CPU block. It looks pretty bad, even on the carving. The other 7 are of high quality as you would expect from EKWB. have already ordered a replacement
