I have a hateful relationship with these hair ties. They're very thin, which is sometimes nice when you don't need a big, thick hair tie at the end of a braid, for example. However, they do not feel very soft. They also stretch very easily. Best for those with thin hair.

Glad I bought this set after losing my hair tie. Now I have several on hand. The quality is better than regular chewing gum. At $0.60 each, this is affordable and gets my hair out of the way.

But it looks like they can stay in place (without much slippage) on finer hair. Generally this is normal.
