Not worth the investment

According to my experience, this product is not worth the investment for automotive welding. It lacks the precision needed for delicate electronic repairs. The only pro is the affordable price, but that comes at the cost of quality. The cons include poor accuracy and inconsistent performance. Avoid wasting your money on this subpar welding tool.

Solder thickness over 1mm

Great design, the use of 0.5mm was a real breakthrough. I've mainly used it for soldering puns on cheap microcontrollers, but I've also used it for a couple of circuit boards, including one for a homemade oscilloscope.

Good but would like copper

Concerned about the new connections but the old connection worked fine as I usually use it outdoors with a butane soldering iron. Would love to see a good version but wish the copper had some copper to extend tip life.
