I have a couple of these in my RV to use with portable solar panels. They allow me to position my handheld to follow the most direct sunlight while keeping the camper comfortably in the shade.

I checked the polarity on my "solar panel on the side" and then made sure the positive goes to the positive on my solar charge controller (I disconnected it at the end of the charge controller and connected directly to the corresponding terminals of the charge controller).

This is a great way to free up space to find the best spot for solar charging when hiking. This is the best copper wire I could find to minimize current loss on my solar controller. So good I bought two!

This is a simple SAE extension from China. I bought the cable based on the description stating the copper wire was tinned like ship wire. Tinned wire is more resistant to moisture and corrosion than untinned wire. I cut off the connector on one end as I didn't need it for my application and was surprised it wasn't actually tin wire. Other than that, it is what it is. I will look for another reputable seller that has the correct description.
