I bought this to heat hookah charcoal and it works great. It heats up the coals very quickly, but if you have children or pets, be very careful. I realized I didn't need the stove high enough to heat the coals because the flame would be too high. You can definitely keep this in a safe place once it's enabled. But other than that, this cooker works great and I'm happy with my purchase.
