The product page says the date is set correctly. This may or may not be true. When you receive it, follow the steps to set the date and time manually. Then it will work fine. My watch has gained a few minutes in the last 4 months or so which is less accurate than my last watch which I had to replace because the old analogue radio tuner finally broke me. I have a completely different brand alarm clock from Europe and love the design of its time projector which is built into the main body with a tiny moving part to set the projection where you want and then there are 2 scrolls.
