This needle works. The needle that was on our Electrohome unit appears to have damaged or altered the record, but not this one.

I bought this to replace the original stylus on a portable turntable. The only complaint is why I didn't order this sooner! :)

has been damaged Exact replacement for Electrohom, very easy to install. Recommended instead of the standard stylus, the standard stylus tends to skip over old records, the problem is solved with these styluses.

I went ahead and bought two spare styluses for future use. They came with the stereo so shipping was free! Needles wear out over time so I bought them now rather than look for them later.

This new stylus works! The stylus that originally came with my Electrohome player had bouncing issues and at the time the only solution was to place a coin on the stylus arm to add the correct weight. Great product and recommended.

Works great. The sound is the same as the needle that came with my Electrohome player. However, when I tried needles that were half the price of another brand, the result was the same. As such I see no reason to overpay and would recommend looking online for cheaper replacements.

The stylus seems to work well but the stylus mount is so low that older records may sag a bit or not be perfectly flat, the rest of the head sometimes hits the record. My other turntable has a lot more clearance and I never have to worry about it. All in all this stylus replacement seems good, the Electrohome turntable isn't very impressive but these extras seem to work as advertised. Just an annoying design decision that might ruin some of the experience.
