Holds the charge better than and doesn't overheat as much as the other aftermarket ones I've tried. As others have noted it sticks a little bit going in and out of the charger, but no big deal, still functional. If I need another replacement someday, I'm going to be getting this one again.

The battery was very easy to replace. Before replacing it, my Dyson (v7) would not work on max suction mode for more than 5-10 secs. After replacing it, I tested it for 5 mins, and it worked without issues. So happy!

This battery was slightly larger due to it has 1 more cell then my oem, this gives it longer runtime then I had when new. While I do think rated capacity is exaggerated I am happy with its capacity and price.

We use our Dyson daily. It’s been 2 years since we replaced the OEM battery, this substitute battery is no different and works great

This is my second battery bought for my Dyson stick vacuum. The first lasted for a year and a half of daily use. And I mean heavy, daily use - we have a Golden!For a fraction of the cost, my Dyson remains operative. As a bonus, two filters were thrown in. All in all, a terrific deal!

The battery took 4 minutes to install. The original screws worked perfectly. I read where someone had issues with original screws. Not sure why but it sounded like they stripped the holes. This is a direct fit and needs no adjustments or modifications.It was also mentioned that the filters that came with the battery easily fall out. That is true. Revitalized my v8 that we were ready to get rid of. We've had our for six months with no issues. I don't remember the exact replacement process but it was a couple screws and a few minutes, very easy.

Several months in to using this battery. It’s worked super well. It’s been some time since I recall what the manufacturers battery could do, but I’m willing to bet it’s either better or equivalent. Very happy!

My old battery was 3 years and still worked, but battery was not lasting as long. Installed this new battery and the battery life is greatly increased. Suction is higher.some rugs I used to vacuum easily are now sucking up into the vac head. Can use High suction on bare floors instead of Max now since the suction is higher. I vacuumed the whole 2 stories of my house on High and still had battery life left. Recommended!

I think the battery that came with my Dyson was bad? I almost got rid of the vacumn but Im glad I bought a new battery intead. It was easy to install. I read a review where the screws were on the vacumn, and watched a youtube video too. I hope it last a while but the vacumn is working even better. 👍

Purchased and have had installed for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Super easy to install (two screws), and outside of cosmetically looking a bit different, it clipped in and held the seal the same. Thanks for the great valued product.

The battery worked great but would not charge after 1 or 2 uses. I contacted the seller who promptly provided a replacement. I am happy to report that the replacement works great. After 2+ months of daily use cleaning up after 2 toddlers, we have had no issues. I can vacuum our whole house on "max suction" compared to the old battery that was to the point that it wouldn't last for more than a couple of rooms on "extended run time" setting. All in all, this battery is as good as, if not better…

After three months I have no complaints as to the battery's retention of charge and duration of operation. Just have to exercise special care when removing the vacuum from the docking station because the battery is slightly too large for the docking station.

Update: the seller contacted me and sent a new battery. Great customer service!I bought this battery in November 2021. East to install, worked great to start! However after 5 1/2 months, the runtime is less than 5 minutes after a full charge. Not a great deal after all!
