🔧 Upgrade Your Lexus GX460: Replace Air Spring with Elite Suspension 30-563000 Rear Coil Spring (2010-2014) Review

Parts came faster than expected. We ordered the parts and the mechanic installed them. He changed us 2 hours. Installed a few weeks ago. No questions.

It took 40 minutes to install. My airbags failed completely, leaving my rear axle sitting on the bumpers. This resulted in a normal ride height and ride quality.

The instructions aren't very good but there are plenty of youtube videos on coil spring retrofitting. The springs fit perfectly and my GX470 runs as smooth as it does with airbags and sits flat.

Husband removed the old airbags from our 2008 Lexus GX470 and replaced them with these springs. Such a comfortable ride! Several YouTube videos helped him get familiar with the installation and he had no trouble with the installation.

Good springs to convert the rear airbag suspension into a spiral. I paired them with a Metal Tech coil conversion kit. This kit includes coils and top insulators only. You will need a bottom spring retainer and an insulator for proper installation. The ride is smooth and comfortable.

I bought this in 2020 and finally found the time to install it on my 2004 GX470. Unfortunately this kit is not compatible with Toyota Top Isolator (spring diameter is too small) and Airbag. The Metal Tech Kit bottom insulator fits perfectly but does not fit the Air 1000 airbag.

Came with installation instructions. The springs work great! Same ride quality as air suspension. The ride height feels like a hair's breadth above the stock "N" setting: 36 inches from the ground to the top of the wheel arch on stock tires. The best way to rid yourself of the need to fix an aging and expensive stock air spring is through tuning it.

The kit itself is fine, hence 3 stars. However, the mileage has decreased. It has some rear springing now, although I paired them with new Bilstein 4600 shocks (correct for the GX 470). In fact, I tried riding with stock shocks first and then Bilsteins. The quality has stayed about the same. This tells me these aren't shocks, they're fake/stiff springs.

I bought these to replace the airbags that deployed on my GX. You can read online how to spend more money on this job, including buying all kinds of kits, racks and mounts, and you'll get the idea. I picked them up having worked on many cars over the years. . Very easy installation (as far as car repairs are concerned).
