Cards are thin and light, almost faded black. Cheap quality. You can definitely find a better, thicker deck for the price.

It's been about 10 years since I bought playing cards on a bike. I don't know if I'm just remembering wrong or what, but these cards are very thin. Like 3 sheets of paper are thin.

Amazing design, but you can get a deck with the same cards but different suits for half the price, the quality is the same as regular cards. You only pay extra for the design on the cards.

Black printing on white (or light colored) cardstock will result in edge wear turning white and cards may be discernible from the reverse side. This deck was in my hands just a few minutes before I saw the first mark. A dark card pool would make this deck much better. Also note: THIS ITEM IS NON-RETURNABLE!

Bought for a friend, firstly there's nothing wrong with them, these cards are almost designed to protect against fraud because you can't see numbers or pass if you have no reflection on them. which doesn't really matter, but my friend is playing poker in a dimly lit area that will make it difficult for him to see the card. Plus it's a great quality deck and looks really cool!

These cards look and play amazing. They are smooth enough to slide easily during a transaction. The shaft and finish offer the smoothest bridge shuffling I've ever had. The black background provides a pleasant gaming experience. I am very happy with these cards! Note: The deck I received had a 10% promo code that they no longer redeem on ellusionist.com. When I shook the box, I felt like the inside was empty. either there weren't 52 cards OR they are microtome thin! COLD! I found the super thin card by accident because I bought it for design. now some tests! I have a lovely 8 card fan deck that opens right out of the box on the first try! (No powder!) As far as I can tell, this deck is about 4-5 cards thinner than a standard deck. Lighter palm, very springy. Don't worry about the price, they play really well!

BUT - The showdown of a wild card is so small that you can hardly see it, making it a pretty bad climax of a card trick. However, you wouldn't buy this deck because of this. Looks great, drives like a dream. and an objection that edges tend to chip is easily resolved with a black sharpie pen if or when that occurs.
