🌞 EltaMD Replenish Water Resistant Broad Spectrum Protection Review

The contents of the bottle are as expected, gives me some white shine on my face but gets better as it absorbs more. My main complaint is the poor packaging of this bottle. It's leaking! The screw cap (not the one the consumer actually opens) comes loose on its own, and while traveling (in my purse or in the outside pocket of a backpack) the sunscreen has leaked and soiled my pockets. There is no way to fix it, it just leaks no matter how I try to tighten the screw cap. Tag me to apply again.

The product is too thick and therefore harder to apply than some of the other Elta MD products I have used. But I was looking for something that was just mineral based, with no oxinoxate (which is banned in some regions as it can affect coral reefs). Slight lightening of the face after application, which is normal if you apply makeup afterwards. The neck is not good at all. It just looks white. The Hyaluronic Acid in the product really makes a difference in protecting and hydrating my skin which is very important when living in the desert.

Solid sunscreen for combination/dry skin. It's waterproof and one of the few Elta sunscreens that doesn't contain citric acid, which has hypersensitivity. I think it could work well for all skin types. I apply a moisturizer under the skin, it blends very easily and has no white tinge. Good sun protection for the day.

At the age of 38 I have combination skin prone to acne. My cheeks are so dry that small wrinkles form. I was looking for a high-quality mineral sunscreen that wouldn't dry me out. I tried MD Solar Sciences Mineral Cream and Moisturizing Mineral. Tried Rodan and Fields to boot spf. I've tried sooo many and at the end of the day they all look like shriveled plums. I love the product but HATE the packaging. Several times the pump stopped working when I bought it or the product was wasted because the pump couldn't lift it. I get so fed up that I usually cut open the tube and pour the lotion into another dispenser. Please pack this in a regular tube without a pump for your convenience to use.

Anyone not getting a white tint with this product is not using it enough to get their assigned SPF protection. Should be about a quarter teaspoon for the face for most people. I'm pale as hell, even for a white chick, and this product makes me look ridiculous - even after applying a thin layer, leaving it on my skin, then rubbing it in. It's ok under makeup but feels a bit heavy. I don't find it particularly moisturizing. I'm pretty hard to please because I prefer Japanese and Korean sunscreens

That's pretty good work. It doesn't break me or irritate my rosacea. I always apply a layer of creamy petroleum jelly to my face, which protects my skin very well, so I don't know how it performs directly on bare skin. It's better than many, many sunscreens I've tried on my face. I'm taking off a star because it's very bold and quite expensive. Honestly, I still like No Ad sunscreen best. It might not be the best face formula, but it's cheaper and never irritates me.

I have dry skin that is prone to redness and I had high hopes for it. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Oily and poorly absorbed. Leaves a white sheen on my fair but olive skin. Biting my eyes is also inspirational to avoid the eye area.
