Make no mistake, this product has incredible water resistance. The biggest problem is that this moisturizer leaves a very white cast on your face if you are a person of color. Period. It is not safe for POC and I had to go to great lengths to wash it off due to its high water resistance before applying another moisturizer that is safer for POC (like Cerave AM Facial Moisturizer). As a user of EltaMD UV Clear, I wanted to try this sunscreen for its waterproof properties. It exceeded my expectations. It is moisturizing, very light on the skin, stays on the skin after sweating and does not cause acne. It gives off a faint white glow, but that's to be expected from any waterproof zinc sunscreen.

I used to be a UV protection fanatic and while it's more cost effective than this this is the BEST formula I've used from them. It moisturizes without being greasy or shiny and is super transparent. Like any chemical sunscreen, it stings my eyes, so I only use mineral sunscreen around my sockets to avoid stinging my eyes, but I apply it twice a day and feel like I'm not wearing anything. Really great formula from them.

Sunscreen constantly leaks from the tube into the cap. As you can see in the picture I didn't squeeze the tube but the liquid keeps coming out making it dirty and wasted. A very annoying problem.

I really like the look of this product. It blends easily on the face. The problem is that it dries on my face. So now I moisturize my skin before wearing the Elta. I don't know if I will buy it again. I am 63 years old and have normal to slightly oily skin.

I really wanted to like it but it didn't work for me. It left a distinct hue on my skin, especially in photos. It also dried out the weird spots on my face. The texture of the sunscreen was nice but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very pale and super oily. For the price I would recommend Skin Aqua Super Hydrating Milk. It usually costs less than $20. This Elthamd is not worth it.

This product was drying my skin and causing atopic dermatitis. I always shake my SPF bottles to make sure they're mixed well. It is advertised that this product does not have a white sheen when applied, but that is not true. IDK whether or not they had pale skin in mind when they advertised this, but I have slightly tanned skin and this product was incredibly white when applied correctly.
