We got this radio for our emergency set. It's nice and small, there is a meteorological group. And powered by a solar battery, the hand crank also has a built-in battery. Perfect for our needs.

Good for emergencies

Doesn't need to be charged. Much smaller than expected, but maybe you don't want anything big and heavy in an emergency. Multiple power options were key for me: USB, AAA, solar, manual crank. You should have that nearby.

Excellent emergency radio

This is an excellent emergency radio. It has Li-ION and AAA battery compartments, as well as solar power, so it comes in handy during power outages. I liked the extra handle as it can be used when the solar panel is not working due to lack of light. I also love adding the flashlight.

We love it! We bought before the coming hurricane and charged right away! We love it! It's a handy all-inclusive item that's super handy to have on hand! It took a while to charge from the solar panel, but we also added backup batteries! It works great and I can only recommend it!

This is an excellent product that every family should have

This is an excellent product that every home should have. I charged it with manual crank and solar methods and it worked great. I even tried it with my phone after it ran out of power to see how long and how easy it could be to use if I had to in a pinch. Also worked great! I like the bright flash. I like it because it's not too heavy for walking and hiking. I will leave this one at home to buy another one for my car. This will be a great gift for the upcoming holidays!

Buyer beware of inferior speakers can not understand what is being announced

On Aus broke out during the first use of the device two months after purchase. I turned it on and it spins counter-clockwise and you can hear and feel a click when the knob goes to the off position, but the power light stays on and the radio doesn't stay fully charged due to this issue. Now I'm struggling to send it back so they can give me another one. Don't buy it, it's a cheap plagiarism. Charges well. But the volume and the speakers suck, you can hardly understand what the emergency weather
