great little radio in the weather radios

Bought for a 93 year old woman. The label is very difficult to read. Once you figure out what does what, you'll be fine. The sound quality is good. impressed with how long the crank charge lasts.

Pros
  • makes joy
Cons
  • other other

Weather Alerts for Weather Radio Stations

The tone of the alert is very good. I wish I could just clarify the wind and tornado warnings. The worst weather here tends to be late at night and you'll be scared if you're woken up by strong thunderstorm warnings.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I'm silent

The radio does not work in all modes, there is no sound!

This Chinese radio sucks! it doesn't work at all! The flash will light up and the siren will make a noise, but part of the radio is completely inoperable in ALL modes! Save your money Don't buy that Chinese junk!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Updates available

Not as advertised. Very cheap. Winder does not charge the radio

Not much can be said about this radio, the batteries were empty in 20 minutes. The radio rewinder was useless and I received no response from the seller as to how or what they intend to do. Would like to send it back and see if I can find a better model. You'll probably have to spend more money to get something decent. Don't waste your time with this product!

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive

Don't buy it for the USB port!

I bought this radio on purpose because it had a USB backup capability when I couldn't charge from the solar panel because it's impossible for me to spend money on real batteries on a regular basis. The solar/USB from my solar powered generator was the primary use for getting weather reports and listening to NPR as I couldn't afford a cell phone with lots of data (lifebuoy phone). And after 2.75 months of ownership, with rare use of the USB connector, the connector got into the radio. I was out…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
