I turned on the flashlight with the square button above and it has several different modes depending on how many times you press the button. It flashes and has 3 different brightness modes. Then I tried to figure out how to turn it off. In the end I pushed the button and it went off. The manual doesn't tell you anything about how to do it. Hope this is helpful for someone else.

Solar panel not working and USB charger won't charge any of my devices. In 2 days of camping I drained a dozen AAA batteries just trying to keep the NOAA weather reports active because we had a chance of bad weather.
