Do Not Buy - Clock Radio

I bought this unit because the Emerson CKS3528 was discontinued. The first thing I noticed was that the display is darker, but tolerable. Now, six months later, he suddenly decides to jump ahead an hour! Today is April 8th - why? I unplugged it, plugged it back in and it stays fast for an hour. I have checked the time zone setting and it is correct. I then unplugged it and took out the backup battery for about four hours. I put the battery back in, plugged in the power and now it's been off for

Too sophisticated product, too complicated for me.

I bought two of these, one fires at 8am and the other fires at 3pm. The 8am alarm goes off in my office and I just turn it off, but another alarm goes off in the garage at 3pm every day and plays until I get there. I have no idea how to change the alarm time and the instructions are useless. I've given up tuning stations so I just press the up and down tuning buttons on the station. I would like. The tuning buttons stop up and down at each station, so it takes a while. There are TEN buttons and

At least it does the basic timing function very well!

Worked right away. It took me a while to realize that these clocks aren't really atomic, they just show the time set even when unplugged. This fact eluded me and I've always wondered why the time is 2 minutes off my actual atomic clock. At some point in the future, the internal calendar got messed up. The alarm clock didn't work on Mondays and Tuesdays, but it did on Saturdays and Sundays. I've now checked the year, month, and day at least two dozen times. If the date is set accurately and the…

Some nice features but difficult to use

I like this watch for my purpose. I wanted a muted green display for the bedroom where my wife doesn't like light while she sleeps. I gave it three stars because I wouldn't be so happy with it otherwise. It has some nice features like keeping time during a power outage and you can set an alarm for Monday through Friday only or Saturday and Sunday only. But I have two cons: 1. The display is not bright, even on a strong or bright it is barely readable in a well-lit room. On dark settings you can

This is another disappointing watch purchase for the TV room.

Updated June 2018 which we have a lot here in the outback. The clock is always ahead 5 minutes, and even if I turn it back, it's going back 5 minutes in a day or two, but it's never more than 5 minutes behind. It seems that "SmartSet" is not that smart. I'm having a few issues with this watch which was meant to replace the 1980's digital watch that started telling the time a few weeks ago. It has the two brightness settings listed in the description, but they get dimmer and dimmer... and the…
