Emerson RP6251 Weather Clock Radio - Portable and Discontinued by Manufacturer Review

I love the radio. He picks up stations very well. I've had one before and it took me a long time to find another. It runs on batteries but has a plug which I use a lot. hoped. Get a lot of static electricity in the weather area. I would buy again because of the radio.

This radio is everything I was looking for and the price was amazing! I bought a refurbished model and it works great! I bought this for my bathroom so I can listen to the radio and weather in the morning as I get ready for work. I don't have many outlets, so I needed one that was battery operated (or mains powered, if I choose). This thing is perfect. It even has a weather alert button on the top so you can get local weather alerts. I would recommend this product to everyone!

This radio looks good but the volume control is different than any other radio I have had. Also, you can't increase the volume in increments, the slightest movement of the knob results in a deafening volume. The sound quality is okay for the price, and the weather radio button is a nice feature though. If you press the weather button without first turning on the radio, the weather radio will turn on at full volume and the volume slider will not control it. Make sure you turn on the radio before

Based on other reviews I thought this would be a risky purchase. But I foolishly hoped for the best and ended up wasting $20.
