Black Encased iPhone 11 Belt Clip Case - Thin Armor Slim Grip Cover with Holster Review

I had the same case for my previous iPhone 6 Plus and loved it. I bought this for my new iPhone 11 and the latch on the top didn't fit the holster well making it almost impossible to latch the phone case into the holster. I had to tighten the latch to get it to fit properly. Also, the spring in the latch is too strong, making it even more difficult to secure the phone in the holster. I may have gotten one that wasn't quite within spec but was disappointed with it.

In December 2020 the bolt broke. Claiming the warranty was fairly easy and straightforward, a week later I received a replacement clip. The replacement lasted until July 2021 and also failed. I don't drop my belt clip or abuse it, but I carry my phone with me every day and use it for work. So on average it took me 6 months. Submitted another warranty claim but was informed that the "Limited Lifetime Warranty" is limited to product replacement. The claim was rejected. Will never buy this brand…

I really like this case for my iPhone 11 with belt clip holster. Just bought my third one because the end clip holding the phone in the holster broke off on impact. The clip seems stronger, but most of what you end up seeing is an insert with the product's name on it, so the engineering plastic that matters is small. I have used previous versions of the Encase product and have been very satisfied. This case has a rubberized cover that slides easily over your phone yet fits snugly.
