📱 Ultra Thin iPhone 12 Pro Belt Case with Kickstand - Encased Slimline Series, Fitted Cover and Holster Clip in Black Review

Have been using this case since the day it was launched, amazingly slim case, perfect cutouts for buttons and ports, raised bump to protect camera lens, magnetic stand and rotating belt clip included. A very thin case offers protection from scratches and scrapes, but I'm not sure how much it protects from falls. The MagSafe charger still works through the case, but the connection isn't as secure compared to the bare device.

The body of the charging station protrudes slightly from the back which requires a bit more care when attaching to some wireless chargers (I have a puck shaped round charger) to avoid bumps. However, it will charge normally if placed correctly. This pissed me off so I bought another Encased holster with a fold out plastic stand. The kickstand on this one doesn't work in portrait mode, while the plastic stand works in both aspects.

I have been using iPhone holster cases for several years. All were satisfactory but this one is outstanding. It is beautifully designed and fits perfectly. This is industrial art! In general, holsters were a bit brittle and something broke after a few months, often a clip. For this reason, I usually keep one in reserve. Thanks to the designers of the closed case. We'll see how well it holds up, but I'll happily buy another one if needed.

The case is a hard shell that doesn't really offer absorbent protection if the phone is dropped. I get a heavier case that protects the phone better. It's still a decent case, I just wish it had more protection. Shock absorbers - that would be great, but unfortunately they are not in this case. This bag is well made, with quality materials, but largely unusable due to the high rib that is pushed around the hole for the camera lenses. While this can protect slightly protruding lenses, the lip catches on the hand it must slide under to return to its place in the holster body. It can be almost impossible to retreat or even offer some resistance; there is no consistency in this regard.
