This m.2 case is made of smooth, durable, glossy plastic and is cool-to-the-touch. I like its feel and look. I've tried different aluminum, they all feel very hot, but this thick plastic made it pretty bearable. The white LED will flash to let you know when data is being transferred, which is cool. The included USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable is thick, bold, durable and certainly handles high-speed data well, unlike other cheap thin USB-C cables. Basically I am satisfied and can only recommend it.

This case has done its job perfectly! The build quality was pretty solid. The plastic finish was different than what I imagined from the photos, less plastic on the Mac and more blocky, but that didn't affect functionality in any way. I've experienced good speeds with the case, and Type-C really should be on everything these days, so having it here was very welcome. I was looking for a way to upgrade my son's computer and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a one-time operation. I stumbled across this Nimaso thinking it was a good price so will give it a try. Transferring files or cloning a drive was smooth and easy, making upgrading an NVMe M.2 card a breeze. The included cable is a CC cable and is about 1 foot long. I wish the cable was more like a 2'. Overall it worked great for my project and now I have a fast, light, portable drive.

First of all the case works pretty well and is really easy to install. My minor criticism of the case is that it still requires a screw to mount the device. I figured with the opening lid they would make everything screwless. Comes with a small screwdriver to screw in the disc. The screwdriver is not magnetic, so be careful when screwing in the disc.
