UPDATE: I had to adjust my USB suspension settings and I can't use my Type-C port. It works, but it's not ideal. Change from 1 star to 3. Disconnects from PC randomly all the time. Not sure if it's related to the hard drive or the case, but the hard drive used to be Windows and it worked fine.

Feels solid, good quality. Speeds as expected over USB 3.1 gen2. The only thing I don't like is that after installing the SSD, there are a few spacers and screws left. These screws are required when using shorter m.2 drives. One day I may need these screws and there is a high possibility that I will lose them or lose track of them. Replaced failed SSKs. Very complete kit and instructions - the ultimate rarity. A magnetic screwdriver needed for tiny screws, as well as spare screws. Unnecessarily both end plates removed as only the back plate needs to be removed. Then I found that the on/off indicator was missing because I had incorrectly reinstalled the faceplate. Use this instead of "flash drives" as transfer speeds are much faster even with a USB 2.0 connection.

Tested on Mac and PC. When connecting to a USB-A 3.1 port, my computer got stuck. Add USB-A 2.0 and it will appear. It's not USB 3.1 compatible on any machine I have. It worked with a USB-C port, but with a Samsong 970 EVO it started out at 40-60Mbps and quickly dropped to zero. Worked as a computer technician for over 30 years. Purchased for Pioneer 1TB nvme gen 3 to use on my PS5 for PS4 gaming as external. I can format my nvme and get it recognizable on a PC running Windows 10, but it's not recognizable on PS5 and is causing loading issues on the console, resulting in database recovery notifications.
