9 year old daughter loves it

Super cool, my 9 year old daughter loved this as a gift. She enjoys putting things together. She needed an assist once or twice but actually figured it out on her own before i could. Each model is separated into ita own bag of parts. Easy to follow.

Pros
  • Gifted to my nephew he loved them
Cons
  • Cost may be prohibitive for some families

My kids love it good for me

U get about 45 min of quiet time. So In my book that’s awesome. Good quality product. Most importantly the boys love it. I’m sure any kid that like to build will enjoy this product.

Pros
  • Child enjoyed building the kit.
Cons
  • May not be engaging for children with different learning styles

Hard to assemble: my feedback

I liked the idea of this kit and based on other reviews, it sounded easy to put together. I bought these for my 7 year old nephew thinking with a little help he could out them together. We commonly do other STEM kits and build stuff and he's also a farm kid always running around the shop with tools helping his dad build stuff on actual tractors. He loves building stuff and is mechanically gifted already. That said, it took myself 28 yo auntie and 58 grandma to put this thing together and it…

Pros
  • Supports independent play and exploration
Cons
  • May not provide opportunities for children to relate STEM concepts to their personal interests or experiences

Directions trash at best.

Three of 5 assembled so far.1- battery pack melted2- motor stopped working after about 20-30 minutes of playing with.Very poor quality, not worth money. And with the pain in ass it is to now return stuff with Revain just out the money because not driving all over to fight UPS store.Do Not Recommend

Pros
  • Product is awesome. My 3 yo and I built them and he loves them.
Cons
  • Limited replayability value once all projects are completed

Love this product on my review.

Bought these as Easter gifts. Boys loved them. Very simple directions easy assembly. The boys are 9 &10 and completed on their own. Youngest has asked for more so these will be purchased again just wish S.T.E.M had more options I could only find 3 different products

Pros
  • Can be used repeatedly to create new structures and designs
Cons
  • May not promote enough innovation or risk-taking

Great gift item for grandkids

Our grandson will be opening the stem kit this Saturday. He likes to put things together so should be a big hit. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Educational tool that makes learning fun and engaging
Cons
  • May use outdated or irrelevant theories and concepts

Best gift ever best in my review

My 6 year old loved this kit! (He is a bit advanced for his age with these types of things…but I think it would be great for any kid age 6-12).One of my favorite gifts he’s ever been given. He got better and better at doing these on his own. My 3 year old loved trying to help too. All of the cars were uniquely powered and functioned differently. One piece was missing from my kit and I emailed the company. They sent the replacement (and extras) right away. Very good customer service. I will buy…

Pros
  • Improves STEM skills like problem-solving and critical thinking
Cons
  • May not be aligned with standard curricula in STEM subjects

A Wonderful gift to 7 year kid

A wonderful gift to a 7-year kid, he liked too much and asked too many questions that how the motor, battery, and other things work. Great learning tool for kids.

Pros
  • Brain Teasers
Cons
  • May not be inclusive of diverse cultural perspectives

Small box but big surprise

Very easy assemble fir our 9 yr old. Box looked small and I thought the cars would be match box size but they are full hand size. Great project

Pros
  • Enhances children's problem-solving skills
Cons
  • May not help children develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment and society

Simple/fun/interactive

Super fun! I did a couple of these with my young daughter and it was simple enough to be able to follow directions while being super interactive where we could do it together. She loves the plane and plays with it all the time now! It’s also pretty durable, so putting it together with a little kiddo wasn’t a big deal at all.

Pros
  • Develop practical ability and imagination: Assembling these STEM toys will cultivate children's hand eye coordination ability and intellectual development, stimulate children’s interest and curiosity.
Cons
  • May promote a narrow view of what constitutes STEM fields

Amazing set on my review.

This is such a neat set. My 9 year old got this for Christmas and so far he has completed 2 of them. The first one I had to help him a little, but by the second he was able to complete it himself. Each set comes in its own bag with everything you need, minus the batteries. They come with extra screws which is also nice. My son had such a good time doing these. You can even paint them before or after assembling. I would recommend this for any child that likes to be hands on and build.

Pros
  • Just loved it. My children were exited to build. And it was a great way to bound with them.
Cons
  • May not provide enough room for creativity and customization

Great Gift best in my review

Purchased for a grandson's 7th birthday and he likes it a lot! (The projects are smaller than I expected but he seems to like them.)

Pros
  • just what i was looking for
Cons
  • May not teach practical skills relevant to everyday life

Students love this - my new review

The car goes pretty fast but it isn’t designed to slam into a wall. The awesome thing about these kits is that they come with multiple vehicles. Not for young kids. Great gift for a kid interested in STEM.

Pros
  • Supports brain development and cognitive skills
Cons
  • May not provide enough emphasis on the creative aspects of STEM fields

STEM Kit Sparks Imaginative Playtime Fun

Toys and games can be both fun and educational, and this 5 in 1 STEM kit delivers in both categories. My analysis of this product showed that it provides hours of entertainment while also teaching important skills. The building aspect promotes creativity, and the various models encourage problem-solving and critical thinking. However, the instructions could be clearer and more detailed. Overall, this is a great addition to any child's toy collection!

Pros
  • Encourages learning and development of STEM skills
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children outside the age range

Fun build for kids but won't last long

Was fun building it for my kid and when it works, it works okay.Somethings you should expectthe gears are plastic, so any resistance will cause them to wear fast. The wires are extremely thin, you should solder them on. If you don't you may find the kits may not work well or at all due to not enough power. The wood needs to be handled without too much pressure or it will break.Don't make things too tight or it will cause premature wear or cause the car not to move.

Pros
  • Sooo fun for kids
Cons
  • Some projects may be too difficult for younger or less experienced children

Nice projects - adult assistance may be required

I am an adult building most of the Poraxy kits for a small grandchild who really enjoys them. The instructions are ok, but not great. Wood is good but care must be taken not to break. Quick dry glue (not included) can be helpful but is not required. Most of the models use small screws (screwdriver included). Instructions or ok but not great. Pay attention to details when following instructions.

Pros
  • My 5 year old son loves putting these together
Cons
  • Requires additional resources and materials not provided in the kit
