WiFi signal for the yard.

This is exactly what is being advertised. We use it in our shop. The building is metal and we didn't do anything to get to the end of the courtyard. This had a huge impact on WiFi for our cameras to work. It has also withstood heavy downpours this spring. We have it outside under the eaves. Many Thanks.

  • Makes you happy

  • Has defects

Good quality good for wireless hotspots

I have two of these installed outside of two adjacent apartment buildings that I own. The Wi-Fi signal couldn't penetrate the concrete and plaster walls, so I installed one in front of the building and one in the back. Signal strength is excellent when you're in line of sight and there's nothing in the way. I had a security camera 30ft from me but 1ft around the corner and the signal wasn't that strong. It still gets enough signal for my needs, but if you need a strong signal you need to be inโ€ฆ

Excellent open range, easy to use.

Bought for a youth camp, placed on the highest roof, everything is fine. Get 600-foot coverage through a small tree line with your phone and tablet. We continue to test range and speed. It doesn't like to penetrate buildings with metal walls/roofs, but not really, the signal is a little patchy in those buildings. Water resistance seems very good as it had to be washed the day after installation. Setting up was easy. So far very satisfied. More tests.

Support not responding at all

I have a basic question about POE (ENH1350EXT Access Point Control) compatibility. emailed me to ask my question via web request and provided a link. Good. i did this Five days later still no response from EnGenius. There was also a link to set up an account. Site "REFUSED" to connect. See fig. It's a pity. As a network engineer, I can say that the product works and is fairly easy to set up, but the total lack of support for a major technical issue is killing any future purchases for me. Avoid.

Can't get it to work.

ENS202EXT has been used for a few years now and works well. I wanted to upgrade to a better 5G hotspot, so we bought the ENH1350EXT. The reviews were great so we ordered it. I've been trying for 3 months to get it working properly but I can't. I tried every YouTube and Google settings I could find. It just performs way, way, way worse than the old ENS202EXT. Does anyone know where I can find help since EnGenius got rid of phone support. In my experience on a scale of 1 to 10. While the oldโ€ฆ

Worth the money

I'm computer savvy and use LOTS of outdoor WiFi extenders. This is one of the best I've ever used. Very reliable signal, great looks with lots of LED indicators telling you what's going on while just watching for SIGNAL transactions. the signal level is reduced by 80%. 80% is a very good number for me, my other old one (WAVLINK) reduces it by 30% (was about 100โ‚ฌ, three of them) which I'm not happy about as it broke after 2 years due to its plastic material not IP67. The price is a bit expensive

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not bad

I hope you understand the instructions

I ended up getting the connection from my "router" (the black thing Comcast gives you that gives you internet access, it's a modem as far as I can tell white) hardwired where the point access (or some nerd they call the antenna thing) with an ethernet cable. I thought I would run this ethernet cable to my router/modem and then run the ethernet cable to my computer. I had a great signal but no access to the settings so I gave my neighbors free wifi for four hours until I found out the ethernetโ€ฆ
