I work for coolers & accessories

No problems with installation, everything worked, all required seals were included, except for the screen seal inside next to the cooler, it was a bit big. but I sanded down the plastic edges to make them fit snugly.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Fits good. All products hold up well.

UPDATE: 1 year in oil cooler and gaskets still work fine. 4500 km driven by car. The temperature delta is still less than 5 degrees. Would buy again. So far, so good. Works well with all seals. It felt like an o-ring was missing, but I could have lost it. No leaks yet, 1000 miles. The temperature delta of coolant and oil varies between 3-5 degrees.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

  • Nothing here

Partial Change - Engine Cooling and Climate Control

Installed this weekend. 21 June 2019. 2005 F250 6.0 FX4. The HPOP screen filter did not fit. Was about 1/4 inch longer. Had to be modified to fit. The cooler itself serves its purpose. Not a fan of the kit. System flushed several times. let's see how she holds up.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Faulty

DO NOT USE THE GASKETS AND GASKETS PROVIDED

Put this kit on a customer's truck and after about 3000 miles the oil cooler cap gasket began to leak. I ripped it open and found that the rubber gasket had reduced in thickness enough to fit under the groove in the cover. I've been a mechanic for a long time and have never seen a rubber or silicon gasket compressed enough to leak. The radiator itself seems fine, I would just buy Motorcraft or Mahle gaskets and gaskets.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Compatibility

Cheap, efficient for engine cooling and air conditioning

This product was the cheapest oil cooler I could find anywhere else for my 6.0. After much research, the most common fault with cheap oil coolers was gaskets and gaskets. This kit had everything you need to get the job done. The oil cooler is also sealed very well, at the moment there are no leaks around the oil cooler. Another great thing about this item is that they offer a "LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY" meaning the items should be under warranty as long as you don't damage them which is greatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Slim design

It may look different than standard, but it works the same!

I have just changed my oil cooler in my 06 f350 6.0 truck, only 59,000 miles, clearing EGR and an update install from stc to hpop. I have to say I'm very pleased with its performance, so far at 65mph my coolant and oil temps remain within 6 degrees of each other for about 15 freeway miles. I drove it about 1200 miles and will write another review on the oil cooler after 6000 km. I recommend using a coolant filter after an oil cooler change if you haven't already done so to protect the radiatorโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Works well great price

Whilst it is too early to call it super deep I have to say I am more than happy with the performance of this oil cooler at the moment. I have '04 6.0 with ok. After driving it 245,000 miles, I noticed my temperatures on my BullyDog programmer were slightly higher than normal for several weeks. I then towed the trailer two weekends in a row and noticed a slight loss of coolant, nowhere but at the radiator. I've heard some horror stories about the oil cooler so I thought sooner rather than later.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not sure
