Large solar charger

Bought this along with the Enginstar portable power station and was pleasantly surprised by the unit. The cost was lower than the competition and fully matched the same features. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some little things

Good solar panels in a portable package

Appears to be a quality solar panel. It folds into a small, lightweight package that you can easily take with you or store away until you need it. As you can see in the picture. On a December day in Indiana, I managed to get close to 54 watts.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good price! doing a good job

Was able to increase the auxiliary generator output from 57% to 100% while running my laptop (in sunlight, sometimes in light clouds) in less than 3 hours. I've never had a 100w charge, but I got a steady 60w until I got close to 100%.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing

My first solar battery. I love it!

I bought this with a 350w power adapter and use both every day to save on my electricity bills. I can even connect my phone charger to the solar panel itself and charge my phone directly from it. The only downside is that I bought it during the Texas rainy season, so there are a lot of days that I don't get a charge, but it does charge heavily on sunny days.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some issues

Excellent quality and versatility

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this product is. The first impression is well made and of high quality. I love that there are 4 panels and you can arrange them in an arc. So if you leave it alone for a few hours, you can position the panels in the sun's path for maximum exposure to the sun to keep charging. It turned out to be a little heavier than expected, but any day I would have preferred a heavy and quality material to a light and unreliable one. I love that there is a pocket toโ€ฆ

Bad DC cable. The panel seems to work fine

I bought this panel complete with a generator. The first panel I received didn't charge the generator at all on a sunny day. I asked for a replacement and it came in a few days. Thanks for that. The interchangeable panel charges the generator instantly and delivers a maximum output of 45W. I've read that this is normal, so no complaints. Out of curiosity, I opened the original panel and wanted to confirm the problem. Nothing happened with the supplied cable. But as soon as I switch the cableโ€ฆ

Pros
  • While I am satisfied
Cons
  • Periodicity

Works well, a little heavy, only 58 watts in the scorching desert sun.

EnginStar 100W solar panel went on a few hikes and was also used here at home. to hold the device well when closed - Stable feet - Fast charging via USB. Dislikes: - Unfortunately, the maximum charging power is 58W. The panels were clean and aligned exactly at noon when the sun was overhead. This measurement was taken using a Jackery Explorer 500. Quite heavy. Only a few reviewers have seen wattages close to the 100 watt rating. Others are closer to 50 watts. I'm not sure if this is a qualityโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
