Add 10 bucks to the cost for hardware.

Solid product finish is good. Your gonna have to predrill back pad.I had to spend another 10 dollars on stainless hardware . stock mounting bolts are not long enough and had to be replaced . it was also missing nuts for the bolts that hold the bar to the brackets. Which are metric (measurement of the devil) so I had to goto the store twice for the superior 1/4 inch bolts .

Pros
  • 5. Precisely cutting, fits for 2004-Up Harley Sportster XL 1200 883
Cons
  • The sissy bar may be too high or low for some riders

A bit narrow for my Sportster

The high bar is a great look for my Sportster with the 10 inch handlebars I now ride with. The narrowness makes it difficult to get off and on ( with the quick detach side plates I subbed out instead of the non quick detachable side plates it came with ). The back rest pad was NOT drilled out and I have heard NOTHING back from customer service about that. I contacted them twice as they wanted to see pictures. I sent the pictures as requested to show that the holes were NOT present. Since then I

Pros
  • Very cool looking sissy bar, and great price. Unfortunately does not fit with my bike. (see headline)
Cons
  • The sissy bar backrest can be bulky and take away from the sleek look of a Harley

Cheap solid sissy bar

Used mainly for a luggage rack for my 3 day pack. It looks like the style that I remember seeing growing up in California on old choppers. Well built. Plates are slightly under a 1/8" thick with well polished chrome on the outsides. On the insides the chrome is a little light and you can see machine marks, but it isn't visible when mounted. The actual sissy bar looks to be cold rolled/formed steel and is solid as hell. The weld grinds on the pad attachment are pretty rough but they get covered…

Pros
  • Love it
Cons
  • It may not be legal in certain states or jurisdictions

A lititle flimsy in my review

Ugh not what I was hoping for. It's a little higher than I was hoping and it's not that sturdy where the backrest screws in. But for the price it's about a 2 out of 5

Pros
  • Features: 1. Aftermarket rear passenger detachable sissy bar backrest pad kit, tough and durable enough for long-lasting performance
Cons
  • It can make it harder to mount and dismount the bike

Easy to install on my review.

We used the brackets that were already on the bike, which was nice, but I think the process would have been simple regardless. The quality seems good and heavy. Looks GREAT!

Pros
  • The wife loves it
Cons
  • The sissy bar can be distracting while riding

Missing pad part! Beware

My order arrived today! So far I was excited about my new part, however the pad was Missing ! I saw other reviews and not everybody was complaining about it. Not instructions ,Disappointed, had to buy the pad in another order.

Pros
  • It fit perfect in my Honda rebel 300 I’m happy with it
Cons
  • The backrest may make it harder to maneuver the bike

Nice Sissy Bar on my review.

This is a very nice Sissy Bar for the price. The best part is it will fit the new Honda Rebel 300 and 500 bikes. You may need to file the mounting holes just a little. Looks like it was made for the bike. Time will tell with the chrome plating. I would buy it again.

Pros
  • 2. Soft cushion, provides great back support for passenger and improve riding comfort on a long haul trip
Cons
  • It may not be compatible with certain riding gear or apparel

Nice backrest best in my review

Fits great. Looks good and is of a a great quality. Installation on my 2017 Iron 883 was a pain only because the bolts under the fender are in a tight area and I have big hands. I didn’t use the backrest and it does appear cheap.

Pros
  • For just right.
Cons
  • It may not be durable and could break easily

Saved my life: my feedback

Looked exactly how I was hoping! Super easy install. Very solid build for what you pay. 10/10Edit: this bar saved my life. It was so structurally sound it totaled the car probably saved my spine from being destroyed. Praise God im even alive. 50 mph from the rear while i was at a dead stop.

Pros
  • Happy with the bar. Fit perfect on my 1989 sportster.
Cons
  • It may be expensive compared to other backrest options

Looks so good. for my opinion

Only reason it loses a star is because it doesn't come with directions and also the Screws are a bit longer than needed. Would have to go to the hardware store an pick up a bit smaller screws

Pros
  • Body & Frame Parts
Cons
  • It can limit the customization options for the bike

Did not fit - my new review

Really needed this. waited for awhile because of delay with bad weather once received it did not fit the bike. Read what was listed but not even close to fitting.

Pros
  • 4. Easy to mount, the sissy bar is not pre-assembled (pics are for your reference)
Cons
  • It can make it harder to access certain parts of the bike for maintenance
