Efficient Dual Button Black/Gray Entry Transmitter: Streamlined and Reliable Access Control Review

It didn't work and cost me 6.72 postage to send it back. I got $16.13 back from Amazon so I lost $15.18 on a product that never worked and I had to return it. Do not trade with such a company if you do not want to lose money.

I was hoping that the 892LT would be a full replacement for the 972LM remote. The remote was perfect for the Lift Master garage door opener, but I also use the 972LM to open our community gate. Unfortunately, this does not program the gate. So he didn't do all the work. I'm sure some other gate and garage door openers can be programmed to open with the 892LT but I can't judge.

One of the OEM remotes for my 12 year old opener was lost a while ago and I was uncomfortable with only having one. Unfortunately, the specific remote control for my opener is obsolete and no longer manufactured. The good news is that this one works with my opener. I had a bit of trouble programming it with my opener, although I've had plenty of experience pairing it with multiple Homelink remotes in cars. However, it finally connected and all is well now.

I had to slowly press and release the remote button several times (in remote learning mode) for the programming to take effect and the opener light to flash twice. after about 30 seconds and the learn-to-open indicator goes off. The remote works as expected and is easy to program with instructions. Both buttons could be programmed with the contractor's chain-driven Lift Master Model 8165. Please note that I have two 8165 Lift Master openers and each is controlled by a button. You cannot program two buttons on the same opener.
