I like this shape in casting and molding

I like this shape! Perfect size, sometimes the pieces are hard to come by, just put in the freezer and it will come out in the freezer in a few hours.

Pros
  • Paperweight
Cons
  • Appearance

Make a beautiful paperweight overnight

Make your dream paperweight overnight. Just pour resin on all those little things you treasure, but there's no place to put them. Then these treasures will be on your desk every day or at the top of your to-do pile. Also makes great gifts in a pinch.

Pros
  • Easy to remove
Cons
  • Disappears

Lighter than I thought

The product is very hard, so I was afraid that the resin would be difficult to remove. I put it off for a while, but one day I had some resin left over and decided to give it a try. After the resin had basically set, I simply opened the sides and the resin started to come out. My dome turned out beautiful!

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Creates shiny, wide, flat domes. resin degradation.

Creates wide, flat domes with a glossy finish. Removing the resin was difficult, even with a mold release agent, until I realized that if I put them in the freezer for a few minutes and then heat them slightly with a hair dryer, they would pop right out. So far no problems after pouring four domes.

Pros
  • Mold and Pour
Cons
  • Corrugated

Works well but edges have broken off after minimal pressure

I have used the mold once. He survived the deterrent process, so he got all the stars. But when I went to take it out of the mold I just turned the sides with my hands (meaning I didn't hit it on any surface or anything) and the piece broke off on the edge. I still find the form usable, but the appearance of the chip after the first use is already quite annoying.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • old
