Great Replacement: Ceiling Fans and Accessories

Awesome! Bought as a replacement for The Hampton Bay (2000) Fan and Lighting Company Combo Fan/Light Remote Control (CHQ8BT7030T). I had to flip tiny white switches to match the old remote but BOOM, it worked great! 😀

Excellent replacement for old remote controls

Excellent replacement for old remote controls. The old ones had broken battery trays and were slow to respond even with new batteries. The new ones react to the first keystroke. It was very easy to set up the tiny switches to match the old remotes, they worked straight away with no issues.

worked great in ceiling fans and accessories

I have a Sea Breeze fan that dropped the original remote and broke it. went to Lowes because Harbor Breeze is their signature brand, spoke to a Lowes representative, good luck ordering a genuine part for these fans. Bought this one instead, took it out of the box, put the batteries in and it worked perfectly, didn't even have to change the code

Functional but ugly

Works great. Even without knowing which channel to install them on, it was easy to understand and the entire installation was up and running in less than 5 minutes. The only things I would say about them are 1) they don't come with batteries (receive 9V) and 2) they don't look very good. For my application this is normal.

. Buy a new receiver that is built into the broken wall. I just took this remote control and screwed it on.

This remote works great and is a welcome alternative to buying a new broken in wall receiver. I just took this remote and screwed the bracket to the wall to keep the remote inside. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a replacement remote.

This remote works! Best in the Ceiling Fans and Accessories Category

After reading reviews saying users didn't require any programming, I decided to purchase this replacement remote. It works! Just make sure you reset the internal controls the same as the ones you are replacing. I made a mistake by skipping this step. So for a few weeks I thought I had to return this remote control. So happy I now have a remote that now controls my fan and light!

Defective product 53T, risk of fire!

Attention buyers! After 2 days the receiver started making a loud buzzing noise. After turning off the switch, the buzzing stopped. Looking at the receiver case there are 2 large bulges where 2 capacitors have failed. It could have started a fire if we hadn't figured it out in time. I advise you not to buy because of this serious defect. Bad capacitors are a serious problem, google it.
