Weird position, best in spares

Looks like a good filter, it sits in a weird place on my Impala 07. You have to open the hood, lift the wipers and remove the plastic trim and it just sits there .

  • Weight
Cons
  • Obsolete

Right!: Cabin Air Filter

I have a '05 Impala and recently changed the cabin air filter. Luckily I had no trouble installing this. Fits perfectly and is the same size as the old one. Advanced Auto and Autozone wanted double the price for it. Attached is a photo of my old one. disgusting !

It really needs a replacement.

I have a Buick Regal 03 that I have owned for two years. I'm not sure when the filter was last changed, but it REALLY needed it. It's not the filters that are to blame, but the air filter on this car is a little tricky to replace. Close the room in an uncomfortable position. Nothing bad.

Good fit but wrong instructions.

The CP392 filter was the perfect replacement for my 2007 Buick Lacrosse. The quality of the stitching is no worse than the OEM. The price is cheaper. The only problem is that the instructions on the box are generic and don't fit my car at all. On some cars the filter can be changed from the glove box but on my car it had to be done under the hood. I found a few videos online to show what I need to do.

Cons
  • No Instructions

Good quality cabin filter at 1/4 the price

This cabin filter was easy to install once I figured out where to install it. The video showed I was behind the glove box but instead I had to remove under the hood and the sealing film. But it got done and it was easy to install. This is a quality air filter. Why spend big bucks on all branded filters like Wix, Fram or STP when they are pretty much the same thing.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

This filter is as good as the Fram Fresh Breeze filter at a better price.

is exactly what I needed for my 2014 Impala Limited (old body style). Do yourself a favor and buy riveted plastic clips (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008427D88/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) so you don't have to worry about breaking your damage your own. remove again. to access this filter. This filter is Fram Fresh Breeze quality at the best price.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

Worked great on a Pontiac Grand Prix

I bought this for a Pontiac Grand Prix. This filter made a very well processed impression. It has extra foam around the perimeter to ensure it fits properly in the car and a loop for removal. It has been perforated to allow it to be bent sufficiently for installation. The package contains instructions for another car and instructions for replacing the filter with the glove box. In this vehicle, the filter is changed via the windscreen cover. A quick YouTube search clarified this.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Ideal replacement for the cabin air filter.

EPAuto CP392 Premium Cabin Air Filter (CF8392A, replacement for select Chevrolet/Pontiac/Buick/Oldsmobile models) works perfectly and looks just as good as the factory filter. The fit is perfect, the airflow is excellent, there is no residual smell. My only gripe is that the instructions on the box don't work for my Buick. In the pack we talk about replacing the interior behind the glove box, but my replacement is made under the hood over the firewall.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
