Use it on my 500w standalone solar system.

It received good reviews from other users and YouTube testers. The only downside is the caution when tightening the screws on the cables. Make sure you have the right screwdriver. I blew off the head of a screw and had to buy another while I was at work to fix mine.

Cons
  • weak

Configuring for lithium was tricky but possible. Finally he died suddenly.

If you have lithium you need to learn. Once I understand that, using the laptop monitor program is fine and everything works fine. I had a little problem with the chart not adjusting to the max voltage (1st pic) and I don't know why it worked one day (I think it was a reboot) but it did (2nd pic ). For about a year the whole thing was just tossed around a few months ago.

Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

So far so good in Energy Controllers

So far so good. I've been using PWM for a while and wanted to try MPPT but the price kept me from playing. I found this controller and decided to unplug it. Easy to install and program. I don't need to change much of the settings, most of the time I'm happy with most of the default settings. No instructions but works. I read it several times and began to understand it better. Large wire tips. Bought MT 50 for remote access. Looks good too. I'm impressed with the bulk load speed of the MPPT. The

A good reliable block is good for energy regulator

Intelligent regulator! Exceeded my expectations! I've had a 30A in my showroom for a few years and it works perfectly! I was impressed with how little heat the rear sinks would receive during my summer months of full sun and long days when the panels are within the limits of the controller. and it was never too hot! I haven't added any accessories (Bluetooth/Wireless/App) yet. I saw from other reviews that they were problematic. But for a simple device that will help maintain that performance…

works great, use a proper screwdriver

do not use an electric screwdriver because the screws are weak and tear off the head, besides these excellent devices I have bought 4 over the years, 3 are currently running in 3 rows of plates a lithium battery, but if you are using lithium make sure you buy a separate USB or Wi-Fi cable as the settings will need to be changed. If you use lead acid it's fine, just plug it in and turn it on. Sorry the screen is hard to see and you really need an extra MT50 screen to control it as the built in…

Excellent charge controller

I did a lot of research to build a small off-grid solar system. I decided I needed an MPPT controller and not the simpler PMN type. The controller is very easy to connect. The display can be a little difficult to read at some angles due to the contrast, but it provides enough information on the state of charge, battery usage, etc. It's out there to power a garage that doesn't have AC. I also have a 100 Ah battery. The controller has a temperature sensor that helps control the charging power…

It's good when they work. c Generators and portable power stations

Easy installation. And the one that came with my charge controller worked fine. I bought another one when I ordered the controller as it said it didn't come with the MT50. The one I ordered separately was defective and kept giving me error messages. Says high temperature, bad battery and something else. He not only read these codes, but also forced the normally functioning MT50 to do the same. Luckily, after I unplugged the faulty device, the problems and incorrect codes were gone. It was easy…

Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Does not tolerate temperature changes.

So this unit was installed outside the trailer for 2 weeks. No rain, just hot and cold days (hottest around 95, coldest around 40). In terms of functionality, this device has not yet disappointed. The ability to "read information" disappeared within a week. If you look at the picture, you can see that in less than two weeks the plastic has already turned yellow and the display is no longer good. I've only owned this device for 2 months at the moment (apparently after the 30 day return policy)…
