Functional for fluids and maintenance

Makes clutch operation easier. The price is too high for what it is. Just a piece of 90 degree steel with a threaded rod welded on. But it is necessary for the operation of the clutch on the Polaris.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Quality tool in tool kits

When overhauling a 4-stroke clutch you need to compress and remove the spring cap and spring. Can also be used for other coupling types.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Nothing

Very well done. Even if the price is too high.

The tool looks very solid and I am sure it will withstand many uses. Makes disassembling the clutch itself very, very easy. But I don't understand why it costs so much. It's a few pieces of steel, a threaded rod, and some hardware. I give four stars for the price. If it was like forty dollars I would give five.

The price is ridiculous, the tool works well.

This is a great tool for what it was designed to do. My 4 stars are based on the price, not the device. I understand making a profit, but that borders on gouging. It's not a complex mechanism. I think the EPI could improve the pricing a bit, especially for those customers who buy their own products who need this tool in the first place.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Necessary to open the clutch on snow/quads/ATVs

I bought this after trying to compress the spring in my second snowmobile to change making it much easier as it was very tedious to do it without this tool. With this tool all you have to do is insert the clutch, tighten slightly so you can relieve and remove the retaining spring that holds the clutch together, then loosen the tool and relieve the spring safely. Made of steel, this tool will last a while for anyone working with clutches.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Mostly fine but...
