This is a fun product! My kids love adding colorful strands to their hair to match their clothes. And it washes out easily. It's also a great gift idea for kids of all ages. Even my husband likes to dye his hair before college football games!

My brunette son really wanted to dye his hair, but I refuse permanent coloring because he is only nine years old. We opted for sprays, gels and decided to try hair chalk. A little patience is required for the application. Of course, darker colors don't appear as well on dark hair (as expected), but the colors become more vibrant after drying. He was happy with the end result!

This chalk works very well. I bought this for my niece who has dark hair and not all the colors came out but it was more than I thought it would be. We also tried them on my mom's light blonde hair and they all looked amazing. Gives hair a strange look but washes out very easily.

I am pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to use and I think the colors are displayed very well! My daughters have medium brown and dark brown hair and you can see the colors in both hair. This works best on the scalp or slicked back hair rather than loose long hair.

We tried hair chalk which is similar to artist pastel/chalk and it was terrible. This type is similar to a lipstick stick and works very well. My daughter had dark hair and was able to use it herself. It has shown well. It looks a little waxy and lumpy at first, but after combing it looks normal.
